The camp dates for 2008 are August 24-29 (Sunday afternoon through breakfast Friday).
This is an opportunity for middle school students to have an unusual camp experience with kids from other religious and faith groups who they might not get to know very well in their everyday lives. Spending almost a week together gives them the chance to discover more about each other's everyday lives, beliefs and feelings. It also may help them get more clarity about their own beliefs and feelings.
The cost of the 2008 camp will be announced in early 2008.
Donations to help with expenses are most welcome. Checks may be made payable to "Associated Ministries -- CAMP" and sent to 1224 South I St, Tacoma, WA 98405; or call 253-383-3056 x 105 with credit card donations.
Campers who will be entering the seventh, eighth or ninth grades in the fall of 2008.

People interested in attending the camp must complete an application form; campers will be selected with a view toward an equitable distribution of boys and girls from a variety of religious and faith traditions. The goal is to have a roughly equal number of campers from each of the major traditions, and a¬Ýgood number of campers from the smaller ones. In 2007, there were 7 Baha’Äôis (one being a Lakota child who also practices Lakota spirituality); 18 Christians (two whose mother is Buddhist and who also identify as Buddhist); 4 who attend an Interfaith congregation; 9 Muslims; 12 Jews; 10 Unitarians; 1 Wiccan; and 1 who identified as "none."¬Ý
